This is an 11-week strength training program. If you're unfamiliar with numbers and how to use percentages, you don't have current 1RM (1 rep max) numbers to work from or you have never lifted weights in the 1-5 rep range before, this program may not be suitable, the Beginning Strength Program will be more appropriate. However, if you're comfortable with the idea of eventually working towards a new 1RM, do a 1, 3, or 5 rep max test a week before you're planning on starting the program so you have some fairly accurate numbers to start with.
